| This year, we could not only show two new episodes, James Cawley (Capt. Kirk) came over as a guest star and held two panels. On this page, I (Peter Walker) wish to report on this event from my point of view. |

Background
We first started showing Star Trek New Voyages episodes at FedCon in 2008 and again in 2009. We tried to get James Cawley invited for FedCon in 2009, but it was not possible. This year we did all we could to get James Cawley invited to the event and this year we succeeded!
James arrived on Thursday (29th April) along with Patrick. Stephan and I met them at the hotel and we were later joined by my niece Tara Walker, who has been studying TV production in London and in Los Angeles. She had the job of filming the press conference and assisting us during FedCon and she was a great help.
Friday
This year, we were allowed to present our New Voyages/Phase II fan film project at the press conference. Due to all the stress of getting everything ready in time, we were a little late arriving at FedCon and arrived at the conference just a few minutes before it was due to start. As I was to present the first talk, it was a little tight, yet just in time. You can see how I presented the project here.
The first episode to be shown was "The Child" followed by a panel with James Cawley. We filmed the panel and we have obtained permission from FedCon to show it here.

The second episode to be shown was Enemy Starfleet at 6pm - just
before the Opening ceremony.
Due to technical problems with the video, we were unable to show the episode with German subtitles. This was unfortunate
as this meant that many of the German fans would have understood it better with subtitles. We promised to show
the episode with subtitles on the second showing on Saturday.
The episode was very well received by the fans in an almost full "Main Bridge" auditorium with an estimated 2000 fans.
That night, we worked through the night to try and correct the
subtitled version. We managed to at least put together an .mp4 version together which worked with subtitles.
